Uttarakhand Madrasa Board to Introduce Sanskrit as Mandatory Subject.

The Uttarakhand Madrasa Board plans to make Sanskrit a compulsory subject in 416 madrassas across the state.

The board is preparing to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state's Sanskrit department.

Computer studies may also be included to further enrich the curriculum.

Currently, Arabic is taught in over 100 madrassas.
