Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Ninja ZX-4RR in India at a price of ₹9.42 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a notable update to the popular supersport model. This launch comes only months after the release of the 2024 variant, but with the new model showcasing a fresh, dynamic color scheme of Lime Green, Ebony, and Blizzard White. The price has increased by ₹32,000 over the previous model, but the rest of the bike remains mostly unchanged in terms of design and performance.

The Ninja ZX-4RR continues to be powered by the same 399cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine, which churns out a respectable 76 horsepower at 14,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 13,000 rpm. This powertrain is paired with a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter, offering seamless gear changes for enhanced performance. A standout feature of the ZX-4RR is the RAM Air system, which boosts the engine’s output to 79 bhp under optimal conditions.
Kawasaki has equipped the 2025 Ninja ZX-4RR with a fully adjustable suspension setup. The front fork is preload-adjustable, while the rear monoshock is fully adjustable, providing better handling and ride comfort. Braking is managed by a set of 290mm semi-floating discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power. The bike has a kerb weight of 189 kg, making it a manageable yet powerful option for riders.
For tech enthusiasts, the Ninja ZX-4RR comes with a 4.3-inch TFT display that includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to sync their smartphones for an enhanced riding experience. The bike also features four riding modes—Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider—along with traction control, offering customization for various riding conditions.

This model, like its predecessor, is imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), and Kawasaki plans to offer it in limited numbers, maintaining an exclusive appeal. Despite its hefty price tag, the Ninja ZX-4RR remains a competitive option in the 400cc supersport segment, especially for enthusiasts seeking high performance in a relatively accessible package.
Additionally, the 2025 Ninja ZX-4RR benefits from its race-inspired design and lightweight construction, making it an ideal choice for track enthusiasts and aggressive riders. Its advanced electronics, including four distinct riding modes and traction control, enhance safety and adaptability across varied riding conditions. The inclusion of a bi-directional quickshifter not only improves shifting dynamics but also highlights Kawasaki’s commitment to delivering a premium riding experience. The new Lime Green-Ebony-Blizzard White color scheme adds a bold visual upgrade, ensuring the ZX-4RR stands out in both performance and style.
