CTET December 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CTET December 2024 exam date. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted on December 1, 2024. The CBSE on September 17 opened the application window. The CTET application will continue till October 16.
The official website – ctet.nic.in is hosting the detailed CTET information bulletin containing details of the examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates. The CTET December 2024 exam will be conducted in 136 cities across the country. The CTET 2024 exam will be held for two papers — paper 1 (for Class 1 to 5) and paper 2 (for Class 6 to 8).

CTET 2024 Exam Date
CTET Exam will be conducted on December 01, 2024 for both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) in two shifts. Paper 1 will be conducted from 09:30 AM to 12:00 noon while Paper will be conducted from 02:30 PM to 05:00 pm. In case there are more candidates in any city, the exam may also be conducted on November 30, 2024.

CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should hold a teacher training qualification recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for the level you are applying for.
CTET 2024 Exam Application Fee
The CTET application form fee for the General/OBC(NCL) Categories who want to appear in a single paper is Rs. 1000. For those who want to appear in both papers will have to pay Rs. 1200. Those hose who belong to SC/ST/PWD categories will be required to pay Rs. Rs. 550/- for a single paper and Rs. 600/- for both papers.
How to Apply for CTET 2024 Exam?
Applications for the CTET exam will be accepted through the online portal of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as follow:
- Step 1: Go to the official website https://ctet.nic.in.
- Step 2: After that, please visit “Apply Online” and open the same.
- Step 3: Now fill in the Online Application Form and note Registration No./Application No.
- Step 4: Now, you need to upload latest Scanned Photograph and Signature.
- Step 5: Pay the Exam Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.
- Step 6: Print the Confirmation page for record and future reference.
