It looks like singer Diljit Dosanjh has listened to his fans! On Wednesday, the popular Punjabi artist announced two additional shows for the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour. When the tour was initially announced last month, Jaipur was missing from the schedule, which disappointed many fans. But it seems their voices were heard, as the new shows include Jaipur, giving fans there something to cheer about!
On Tuesday night, the promoters of the Dil-Luminati tour revealed that two new shows have been added—one in Delhi on October 27 and another in Jaipur on November 3. Diljit Dosanjh shared the news on his Instagram Stories late on Tuesday. A key detail mentioned in the post was that tickets would go live starting Wednesday, October 9. Diljit is also scheduled to perform in Delhi on October 26. Back in September, the singer had hinted at adding more shows in Delhi and Jaipur but hadn’t confirmed the dates until now.
The tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati tour went live on September 10, and the overwhelming response was clear as most shows sold out within minutes. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement, and one user on X even compared the ticket frenzy to the craze for Cricket World Cup matches, tweeting, “Insane craze for Diljit Dosanjh concert. Tickets sold out in a minute. Reminds me of the World Cup!”
All About Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024
Diljit expressed that he is “overwhelmed” by the response to his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024, which has become the highest-grossing concert tour ever in India with a whopping 2.5 lakh tickets sold. The India leg of the tour kicks off in Delhi on October 26, followed by another show in Delhi on October 27. It then moves to Jaipur on November 2, Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30, Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, and Chandigarh on December 14. Diljit will conclude the tour with a grand finale in Guwahati on December 29.
