Singer Diljit Dosanjh, who arrived in Delhi on Friday for the Indian leg of his popular Dil-Luminati Tour, visited the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib to seek blessings. In a video shared by Team Dosanjh on Instagram, Diljit is seen inside the gurudwara.
Diljit visits Bangla Sahib
The singer prayed with folded hands, bowed his head, and touched the steps of the gurudwara as he entered. He was also seen taking prasad (holy offerings). he wore a white T-shirt, black denim jacket, black pants, and a red turban.
The video was posted with the caption, “Bangla Sahib (folded hands emoji).” Diljit’s song Aar Nanak Paar Nanak played in the background.
Diljit Dosanjh had earlier shared a post after landing in Delhi
On Friday evening, he posted on Instagram about his arrival in India, sharing his excitement for the upcoming concert. In the post, he shared pictures from his flight, writing, “Delhi Ka Mausam Kya Keh Raha Hai (What is the weather in Delhi saying) DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24,” along with an Indian flag emoji and the song Bharat Ka Rahnewala Hoon from the classic film Purab Aur Paschim.
Diljit’s tour in India
Diljit has been on tour for several weeks, performing in the US and Europe. Now, he’s set to kick off the Indian leg of his tour, with scheduled performances at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi over the weekend. The tour will continue in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
He also recently announced that he will appear in Border 2 alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The film, set during the Battle of Longewala, is expected to begin filming in November.
