Femina Miss India 2024: Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh has been crowned this year’s winner, with Rekha Pandayy from Union Territories as the first runner-up and Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat as the second runner-up.

Nikita, an actor who started her career at the age of 18 as a TV anchor, was crowned by last year’s winner, Nandini Gupta. Neha Dhupia honored her with the Miss India sash.

The grand finale of the Miss India pageant took place in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The event featured a stunning ramp walk by Sangeeta Bijlani and appearances by former Miss India and actor Neha Dhupia, along with Raghav Juyal and other notable personalities. Anusha Dandekar was among the esteemed jury members.

The latest edition of the Femina Miss India pageant embarked on a nationwide talent search, conducting on-ground auditions across the country to find the finest contenders. This extensive scouting drive led to the selection of 30 state winners, who underwent intense training and grooming sessions in a pageant boot camp led by industry experts.

These 30 state winners competed for the prestigious title of Femina Miss India 2024 at the Grand Finale held on Wednesday. Co-powered by Tops and Rajnigandha Pearls, the winner will represent India at the Miss World pageant. Winning the title of Femina Miss India not only brings widespread recognition but also offers the winner the opportunity to live in Mumbai, the country’s vibrant hub of entertainment and glamour.

Continuing the legacy of India’s five iconic Miss Worlds—Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chhillar (2017)—who made the nation proud with their global presence, the country eagerly anticipated the crowning of its new titleholder.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of India’s most renowned beauty pageant, the Miss India Organization has launched a special music anthem to honor its rich heritage. The anthem, titled “Rise of Queen,” is now available on all major streaming platforms, paying tribute to the pageant’s legacy and inspiring future queens.
