NTA Launches NEET UG 2025 Portal to Report Exam Frauds

NEET UG 2025 aspirants now have an official tool to combat exam fraud, thanks to a new initiative launched by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The agency has rolled out a dedicated reporting portal aimed at identifying and curbing suspicious activities in line with the Public Examinations Act, 2024.

This proactive move is designed to ensure that NEET UG 2025 is conducted in a transparent and secure manner. With growing concerns about exam fraud and digital impersonation, the NTA has implemented this mechanism to empower candidates, parents, and other stakeholders to report any unethical practices or misleading claims. This includes unauthorized mock test materials, suspicious advertisements, impersonation attempts, and coaching centers falsely claiming access to leaked question papers.

NEET UG 2025: New Portal to Curb Exam Malpractices

According to a detailed report by Business Today, the anti-cheating measures for NEET UG 2025 extend beyond the portal. They include tightened frisking protocols, deployment of escorts for sensitive exam materials, and AI-driven surveillance tools at examination centers (source). These comprehensive steps are all part of NTA’s mission to uphold the integrity of India’s largest medical entrance examination.

The new reporting portal is easy to access through the official NTA website. As highlighted by PW (Physics Wallah), users can lodge complaints regarding suspicious activities directly online, making it convenient for whistleblowers to help curb exam fraud in NEET UG 2025 (source). This includes a section where users can upload supporting documents or screenshots, enhancing the investigation process.

This initiative is closely aligned with the Public Examinations Act, 2024, which was enacted to deter and penalize individuals and organizations found guilty of tampering with or compromising national-level examinations. Under this law, strict legal action—including imprisonment and fines—can be taken against those involved in exam fraud. The NTA’s platform supports this by serving as a first line of defense, allowing early detection and swift response.

For the nearly 25 lakh students expected to appear for NEET UG 2025, the launch of this portal is a major reassurance. It reflects NTA’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and the mental well-being of candidates. Parents and educators have welcomed the move, calling it a much-needed step to eliminate malpractice and anxiety surrounding the exam.

In a time when digital manipulation and misleading content are on the rise, the NEET UG 2025 exam fraud reporting portal stands as a bold and necessary innovation. By giving the public a voice in maintaining exam integrity, NTA is setting a strong precedent for future exams.
