PM Modi’s 3-State Visit Brings Massive Infrastructure Boost

PM Modi Maharashtra visit kicked off a significant two-day journey across three states, beginning with his appearance at the WAVES 2025 summit in Mumbai on May 1. The event, formally known as the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit, showcased India’s growing prowess in the global media and entertainment space. PM Modi- Focus Shifts to Kerala: Vizhinjam International Seaport 

On May 2, PM Modi continued his nationwide development push by dedicating the Vizhinjam International Seaport in Kerala to the nation. The deepwater seaport, located in Thiruvananthapuram, is a strategic addition to India’s maritime infrastructure. Designed to handle large container ships, the port is expected to reduce dependence on foreign ports and strengthen India’s position in global trade logistics. 

According to The Economic Times, this port will enhance connectivity between India and major shipping lanes, making it a game-changer for southern India’s export economy. Amaravati Gets a Mega ₹58,000 Crore Boost 

Later on May 2, PM Modi visited Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple infrastructure projects totaling over ₹58,000 crore. These include national highways, new railway lines, energy projects, and irrigation works. 

As per Times of India, the Amaravati development projects aim to transform Andhra Pradesh into a logistics and industrial hub. PM Modi stated that the central government remains committed to accelerating development across all regions, especially those with high economic potential.
