Pushpa 2 The Rule is gearing up for its highly anticipated release in theatres on December 5, with less than a month remaining. Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. Despite the release date still being weeks away, the film has already surpassed expectations in advance bookings.
The film has racked up an impressive $415k in pre-sales for its North American premiere on December 4, surpassing the pre-sales of the first part, Pushpa: The Rise, which earned $400k during its premiere in 2021. With 715 locations and 2750 screens, Pushpa 2: The Rule is set for a massive opening. As of Wednesday morning, over 15,000 tickets had already been sold, with bookings yet to open in Canada.
In India, the anticipation is equally high, with the sequel dominating popular searches on the BookMyShow app. Pushpa: The Rise had a total of $2.5 million in North American earnings during its full run, and the sequel is expected to exceed these figures.
Recently, producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movies held a press conference in Hyderabad, revealing that the film’s non-theatrical business had already crossed ₹425 crore, bringing the total business to around ₹1000 crore. It remains to be seen how much Pushpa 2: The Rule will rake in on opening day in India and internationally.

Pushpa 2: The Rule will be released on December 5 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali. It will face competition from Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika’s film Chhaava at the box office.
In the film, Allu Arjun reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Srivalli, and Fahadh Faasil portrays his rival, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. Other key cast members include Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, and Ajay.
