Raptee Motors has introduced its first high-voltage electric bike, the Raptee.HV T30, into the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.39 lakh. This new electric motorcycle is being hailed as a groundbreaking addition to the country’s EV landscape due to its compatibility with car charging stations and several other innovative features. With a robust design, impressive range, and tech-driven features, the Raptee T30 is positioned to compete with mid-range petrol bikes and other electric motorcycles in India.

Key Features of Raptee.HV T30
1. Charging Compatibility
One of the most unique aspects of the Raptee T30 is its CCS2 charging port, a feature commonly seen in electric cars but rarely in electric two-wheelers. This universal charging standard makes the T30 compatible with over 13,500 car charging stations across India, and this number is expected to double by 2025. This is a major selling point for the T30, as it allows riders to charge the bike at any high-voltage car charging station, adding immense convenience and flexibility for EV users.
According to Raptee, the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in just 40 minutes using these public car chargers. At home, the bike’s proprietary charger can accomplish the same task in about an hour.
2. Performance
The Raptee T30 is built for performance, boasting 30 bhp (22kW) of power and 70 Nm of torque, which places it in the same category as 250-300cc petrol motorcycles. It is powered by a 240V, 5.4kWh battery pack, which gives it an impressive top speed of 135 km/h. The bike can go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, a performance figure that rivals some of the most popular petrol bikes in India like the KTM 250 Duke and Royal Enfield’s Guerilla 450.
In terms of range, the T30 offers an IDC-certified range of 200 km on a full charge, which translates to a real-world range of about 150 km. This makes it suitable for both daily commutes and long-distance rides.
3. Design and Build
The T30 features a minimalistic yet sporty design, inspired by the aesthetics of luxury cars. The bike is available in four colors—Arctic White, Eclipse Black, Horizon Red, and Mercury Grey—catering to diverse rider preferences. Its design includes a muscular front, with an upright stance reminiscent of sport cruisers like the Bajaj Dominar 400. The front end is accentuated by diagonal LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), adding to its premium look.
The bike’s ergonomic design is intended for both city rides and long-distance travel, with upright handlebars and rear-set footpegs, ensuring rider comfort during extended rides.
4. Technology and Features
At the core of the Raptee T30’s advanced features is a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display that integrates with the company’s proprietary RapteeOS. This display offers turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, ride analytics, and call/SMS notifications. The Raptee T30 also features an advanced Raptee Maps system, which helps riders locate charging stations, making it highly user-friendly for long-distance riders who need to plan their trips accordingly.
In terms of riding modes, the T30 offers three distinct modes—Comfort, Power, and Sprint—which adjust the bike’s performance according to riding conditions. The bike also incorporates smartwatch compatibility, enabling users to lock and unlock the bike using their Android or Apple smartwatches.
5. Safety and Durability
Safety is another area where the Raptee T30 shines. The bike’s IP67-rated battery ensures durability and protection against water and dust, making it reliable in all weather conditions. The braking system includes a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear, providing strong stopping power. Additionally, the bike is equipped with inverted front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, which enhance its stability and handling.

Price and Market Positioning
Priced at ₹2.39 lakh, the Raptee T30 sits between electric motorcycles like the Matter Aera (₹1.74 lakh) and the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 (₹2.99 lakh). While it is more expensive than some of its rivals, its car-charging compatibility, high-performance figures, and premium features justify the price point. In the petrol bike market, it competes with mid-range motorcycles like the Harley-Davidson X440, Royal Enfield Guerilla 450, and Triumph Speed 400.
The Raptee.HV T30 electric bike is a bold entry into India’s growing electric vehicle market. With its high-voltage architecture, car charger compatibility, and impressive performance, it offers a significant leap forward in electric motorcycle technology. Designed for both daily commuters and performance-oriented riders, the T30 sets new benchmarks in the Indian EV space. Its combination of advanced features, competitive pricing, and convenience through the widespread availability of charging stations makes it a compelling choice for anyone looking to make the switch to electric motorcycles.
