Causative Agent: 

Marburg virus, related to Ebola, from the Filoviridae family.

Reservoir Host: 

African fruit bat (Rousettus aegyptiacus).

Transmission: 

From bats to primates, spreads through contact with infected body fluids. 

Symptoms: 

Fever, chills, headache, severe bleeding in advanced stages.

Fatality: 

Average fatality rate ~50%, varying from 24% to 88% 

Treatment: 

No specific treatment
